  The Job Interview

When job interviewers meet you in person, they want to find out three important things, namely:
1. 'Why are you here?'  
2. 'How can you help us?'    
3. 'What kind of person are you?'

 
(these questions are rarely asked directly, but they could be, so be prepared to answer them.)

8. What is more important to you – Wages or Job Satisfaction?
9. What are your salary expectations?  
10.Would you consider working without pay, and if so, under what circumstances?
11. How do you feel about working overtime?

1. How do you handle disagreements with your superiors?  
2. Do you feel comfortable delegating tasks?  
3. What tasks do you like the least?  
4. What types of people do you work best with?  
5. Are there any types of people who "rub you the wrong way?"
6. Are you a leader or a follower?
 
7. In your last job, what was your biggest disappointment?  
8. What motivates you?  
9. What makes you angry?
10.What's the greatest honour you have ever had?
 
11.How well do you handle criticism?

The Negativity approach

1. You seem overqualified for this position; wouldn't you become bored and want to quit?  
2. We're looking for a younger person.
3. We can't match the salary you were earning at your previous job.
